We got away lightly, just a few panes of broken glass in the big greenhouse and a few of the taller bonsai blown over (luckily no damage).
Isn't it strange how 2 bad winters change our behaviour. I have not worried about protecting any but the most tender species for the last 16 years, and now I am scratting around to find space under cover for most of my trees.
Let's hope for a mild winter and a good summer to follow.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15058808302814500583noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1947832988749594918.post-51392103351369405252011-12-10T23:27:54.754+00:002011-12-10T23:27:54.754+00:00As a fellow baldy with a tunnel, I feel your pain....As a fellow baldy with a tunnel, I feel your pain. My saving grace is a well sheltered garden. A shame the frame is mangled.
Did the perlite stay put when the tunnel lifted, or do you have your own Winter Wonderland in the garden?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
